80CrV2-kern met smeedijzeren bekleding – santoku met teak en koperen heft

A santoku with an 80CrV2 core and wrought iron cladding, forged by hand in Groningen. A santoku is a Japanese all-purpose kitchen knife. The outer layers are wrought iron, an old low-carbon iron with a visible grain, around a steel core. The surface is raw and a little pitted, and the iron darkens with use. The handle is teak with a copper ferrule.
